SigEx Ventures : The new Logitech Wave Keyboard
by Ana Maria Ciobanu

I am a Logitech fan. I love their wireless keyboards, I like the design and I wouldn't change my keyboard for nothing in the world. I just love it's keys and typing really becomes a pleasure. I'm not trying to do publicity here...but the good words for Logitech seem to be flying because I'm typing at the moment. They recently announced a new groundbreaking keyboard design. I am not very open to changes when it comes to my keyboard so I went to visit their website in a skeptical mood. A headline caught my attention when I was looking at the design features: "Cradle your hands". It seems they've tested a number of different key height variations to get the perfect fit and the keyboard is curved and higher in the middle. Since I haven't tried it out I don't really know if your hands are really cradled by it. I'm used to my smooth, straight, slim keyboard and this one looks really huge in the pictures. They say the wave design allows you to comfortably use your keyboard without having to change the way you type. As I've said before, I haven't tried one...but I don't know how comfortable I'd be with a bump in my keyboard. I think the "Contoured wave-shaped key design" which "conforms naturally to your fingers" is super nice to touch though. The other features aren't so special or innovative...programmable F-keys, instant media access, adjustable keyboard height, a cushioned contour palm rest etc. I don't think I'll change my keyboard soon but I can't wait to try one though. Who knows what great comfort it brings at only $49.99?
