Apple ar face bine sa deschida inca o fabrica iPhone pentru ca un sondaj recent arata ca 19 milioane de utilizatori de telefonie mobila vor telefonul. "Aceste date confirma faptul ca iPhone a aprins imaginatia consumatorilor si nu e doar un subiect de conversatie intre cunoscatori si impatimiti ai tehnologiei" spune Mark Donovan, vice presedinte senior si analist senir al M:Metrics. Donovan spune ca cei 19 milioane de oameni care si-au exprimat interesul este impresionat dat fiind faptul ca baza instalata a celor mai sofisticate dispozitive rar se intampla sa atinga 1 milion." Potrivit firmei de cercetari din Seattle, M:Metrics, 9% din cei interveviati si-au exprimat foarte puternic interesul pentru iPhone. Si mai surprinzator este faptul ca 67% din acei oameni care apartin de alte retele sunt dispusi sa se mute la AT&T, furnizorul exclusiv al telefoanelor pe cinci ani.Sondajul a fost efectuat in Aprilie si au fost interveviati 11.060 abonati de telefonie mobila din SUA. Oamenii au fost intrebati daca au auzit de iPhone si sa noteze interesul lor de la scazut, neutru la ridicat. 64% din americanii intrebati cunosteau telefonul. M:Metrics afirma ca 47% din abonatii americani de telefonie mobila au un interes scauza pentru iPhone in timp ce 8% au un interes neutru.Firma a descoperit de asemenea ca 30% din abonatii britanici de telefonie mobila au un interes puternic pentru cumpararea telefonului chiar daca Apple nu a anuntat inca o data de lansare in Europa.Telefonul iPhone al Apple va iesi la vanzare pe 29 iunie si va fi disponibil in versiuni de 499$ si 599$. Cumparatorii vor trebui sa incheie un contract cu AT&T pe doi ani."Aceasta este o indicare timpurie ca strategia AT&T de folosire a telefonului pentru a ademenii clienti de de la competitori ar putea avea rezultate" spune Donovan.
